- Overview of the Program
The Double Degree Program between the Master Program in Chemistry, FMIPA UGM, and the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University, Japan, provides Master’s students with the opportunity to undertake an international academic and research experience. The program combines the academic strengths of Universitas Gadjah Mada in chemistry and molecular sciences with the expertise of the Division of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University, particularly in computational science and computational chemistry. Students will conduct academic and research activities at both institutions and are expected to complete the program within two academic years, including thesis completion.
- Eligibility
- Active student of the Master Program in Chemistry, FMIPA UGM.
- Officially admitted as a Master’s student at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
- Have sufficient English proficiency
- Schedule
Students will spend part of their study period at FMIPA UGM and approximately one academic year at Kanazawa University, Japan. The detailed schedule will follow the academic calendar and study plan approved by both institutions.
- Acquirable Degree
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive two Master’s degrees: one from Universitas Gadjah Mada and one from Kanazawa University, Japan, according to the applicable academic regulations of both universities.
