Research Interest :
1. Sintesis dan aplikasi material hibrida berbasis lempung anionik dan magnetit untuk menghilangkan senyawa pencemar lingkungan dan penyebab masalah kesehatan,
2. Recovery logam berharga emas dan perak dengan menggunakan material berbahan dasar lempung anionik, dan hibrida lempung anionik-magnetit dan hibrida zat humat-magnetit,
3. Sintesis dan aplikasi material berbasis nanopartikel untuk sensor kolorimetri senyawa penting bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan
Aktif meneliti di bidang lingkungan dan material khususnya dalam mengatasi masalah cemaran logam berat dan zat warna berbahaya dengan menggunakan adsorben sintetik maupun adsorben selektif berbasis pada bahan alam Indonesia. Selain itu giat pula mengembangkan sensor kolorimetri menggunakan material berbasis nanopartikel untuk senyawa penting bagi lingkungan (logam berat, zat warna, dll.) dan kesehatan (antibakteri, bakteri patogen, kreatinin.dll.).
