Sintesis senyawa antimalaria, antibakteri dan kemosensor (isolasi, sintesis dan aplikasi kemosensor untuk bahan pangan) Melakukan sintesis dengan basis senyawa vanilin untuk digunakan sebagai antimalaria dan antibakteri. Vanilin juga digunakan untuk sintesis kemosensor yang diaplikasikan dalam pangan (mendeteksi formalin, kerusakan bahan pangan, kesegaran bahan pangan). Penggunaan isolasi bahan alam yang juga digunakan sebagai sumber kemosensor. Selain itu, studi antimalaria, antibakteri dan kemosensor didukung dengan studi kimia komputasi.
