Topics and Scope
The conference has aims to stimulate and promote a mutual discussion and exchange the latest developments on the fundamental and applied studies of ion exchange and its related subjects. The general topics of the conference will be:
1. Academic sessions:
Ion exchange
Solvent extraction and separation
Catalysis
Adsorption
Analytical technology
Sensing technology
Novel application in water purification, environmental remediation, etc.
2. Industrial sessions:
Fundamental technology
Applied technology
Abstract Submission
All authors (oral and poster sessions) are requested to submit a one-page English written abstract via website http://icie.ugm.ac.id/ no later than January 31st, 2018. The abstract includes a short summary, tables, figures and references. A short summary and the information about author such as the name(s), affiliation(s), the contact address (e-mail address) of the corresponding author should be placed at the first part of the abstract. The authors must strictly follow the provided template for the style and format.
Selection of the papers and the mode of presentation will be arranged by the organizing committee based on the submitted abstract. The notification of acceptance will be informed to the corresponding author by e-mail on February 25th, 2018. Each oral presentation is given 20 min including discussion. In addition, the poster presentation will be held in specified time and board size after the acceptance has been noticed.
Publication
Papers submitted no later than March 31st, 2018 and presented at ICIE 2018 will be published in either a regular issue of Journal of Ion Exchange, special issue of Indonesian Journal of Chemistry (indexed by Scopus). Authors must clearly indicate their preference to which journal that their paper must be published. Please refer to the full paper template of your selected journal for preparing and writing paper. To maintain the high quality, he submitted papers will be reviewed in the same standard as for regular issues.
