Fotokatalis inovatif ini memiliki kemampuan untuk mengurai polutan dalam air secara efektif, khususnya pada limbah cucian. \u201cPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi ramah lingkungan dalam mengatasi masalah pencemaran air akibat limbah deterjen,\u201d ungkap Prof. Endang. \u201cDengan memanfaatkan limbah karat besi yang melimpah, kami berhasil menciptakan foto-katalis yang tidak hanya efektif tetapi juga ekonomis.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fotokatalis TiO2-Fe\/Fe3O4 yang dikembangkan oleh Prof. Endang memiliki beberapa keunggulan. Selain mampu mengurai polutan organik dalam waktu yang relatif singkat, foto-katalis ini juga dapat digunakan berulang kali sehingga lebih efisien. Selain itu, bahan baku yang digunakan, yaitu limbah karat besi, sangat mudah diperoleh dan berbiaya rendah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chemistry.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1671\/2024\/12\/IJBSCEE-12.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5916 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/chemistry.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1671\/2024\/12\/IJBSCEE-12-300x170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"627\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chemistry.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1671\/2024\/12\/IJBSCEE-12-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/chemistry.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1671\/2024\/12\/IJBSCEE-12.jpg 682w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 627px) 100vw, 627px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan teknologi pengolahan air bersih di Indonesia.
